Gwendolyn Rainey joined the Children’s Defense Fund-Louisiana office  in 2009 after many years of service as a Municipal Bond Trader for several local firms. Although no longer a part of the market exchanges, she is now on the exchange for the betterment of children. She serves as a Learning Advocate in our partnering schools across metropolitan New Orleans. Also, she works and participates in many roles to accomplish the mission of CDF. Ms. Rainey is a graduate of Xavier University. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and a minor in Economics.
