Dana Jones is the Program Coordinator for Youth Leadership and Development with the Children’s Defense Fund-Louisiana office. She is responsible for serving Louisiana’s youth through the CDF Freedom Schools Program®, YALT® (Young Advocates Leadership Training), and BTO® (Beat the Odds Scholarship Program). She also serves as the Project Director for the CDF Broad Street Freedom School Summer and After-School program. Ms. Jones is a native of New Orleans and a graduate of Our Lady of Holy Cross College (New Orleans). She received her B.S. in Elementary Education. She is the mother of one son, Tajh Jones.
